We've managed to decipher it!
"Sorry, Lynn and Alasdair,
Really drunk - it's 4.40 in the morning. Probably the last to write in your book. Just wanted to wish you both well, and tell you what a great [twice!] day we've had, and how lovely you both are, and how drunk I am, and how happy I am for you both, and how much I love you both,
Margaret deciphered it as:
Really drunk it's (yes, apostrophe was there. All the punctuation is as he had it-his English teacher would be proud!) 4.40 in the morning. Probably the last to write in your book. Just wanted to wish you both well, and alli (?-my question mark)you..in...years..down the line and how lovely you both are and how drunk I am,.....I am for you both and how much I love you both
